Engineering Graphics Drawing

Explains most models and features used and transfers well to CAD design. Extensive book with very detailed drawings. I do NOT consider it a book for beginners, however it does cover what you'll need to know eventually. I've used it as a reference as my training progressed. It's worth having as it covers it all in-depth.

Great book with a ton of info needed for mechanical drafting. will be keeping this one for references while working.

I have been using this reference since the Fourth Edition. I am so impressed with how it still has such a familiarity to it, yet with such modern interpretations. I am equally impressed with how well the modern practices of todays 3D design concepts have been integrated with the techniques of an old T-Square like me. A real must have for any dedicated mechanical designer.

This book was required for my Engineering Graphics class. I took this class as an independent study course, which made me a little nervous as it was TRULY independent. I never met with the instructor, although I could email if I got stuck. Thanks to this book, I never had to ask any questions. I recommend this book for anyone who is either just learning AutoCad, or anyone who is already comfortable with the software but needs to work on design standards. My only complaint is that the binding completely came apart from the cover within 3 weeks of delivery. Because I rented the book instead of purchasing it, I just hope I don't get charged. When I received the book, it had a lot of writing in it, although all of it was in fairly light pencil.
