Used for class just what I needed
I found this text to be fun to read, comprehensible and effective as a resource for use in improving my geotechnical and foundation design related technical memos.
When I was engaged to deliver a course on technical writing for engineers, I looked at a number of book options. I opted to use this as the textbook for my class because it is well-written, easy to understand, and rather complete. It may seem difficult to believe that a book on technical writing can be interesting and easy to read, but here it is. The excellence in the writing made it an easier class to deliver, and my students appreciated the material, as well as the exercises assigned with each chapter. It is a STRONG recommend!
